Beyond LPWAN (draft agenda)
Wireless IoT with LPWAN has evolved. NeoMesh with LoRa-PHY has conquered the underground and sewer. Satellite communication with Globalstar has been supplemented by LoRa via satellite and NB-IoT via satellite (5G NTN). Mioty the new star in LPWAN is in test operation via satellite. Mioty NTN via drone and sports aircraft helps us to save masts and covers 110000 km2 with just one Mioty base station. Below is the provisional agenda.
Day 1
- Welcome (Harald Naumann, Antennity, 10 min.)
- LPWAN and wireless IoT – review and outlook (Ralf Horn, Digikey, 20 min.)
- Status NB-IoT, LTE-M, public LoRaN and Sigfox in Germany (Wilhelm Oelers, Triptec, 20 min.)
- Mioty in Erfurt (Mr Tränkler, Diehl, 20 min.)
- IoT via satellite with 5G-NTN (NB-IoT via satellite), LoRaWAN, Mioty and Globalstar (Harald Naumann, Antennity, 20 min.)
Day 2
- LPWAN technologies in comparison – an update (Harald Naumann, Antennity, 30 min.)
