Abracon and Antennity: Patented Loop Antenna Solutions

Abracon and Antennity combine patented loop antenna technology with practical design expertise for compact, integrated wireless solutions. Antennity serves as sales and design partner and uses Abracon’s patented loop layouts to develop proprietary antennas and custom antenna systems for demanding IoT and wireless applications.

Abracon offers a wide antenna and component portfolio. A core innovation is its patented loop antenna method, which increases bandwidth and enables highly efficient designs. One example achieves 89% efficiency across 690-2700 MHz and supports cellular bands, NTN, GNSS, and Bluetooth in a single antenna concept.

Antennity builds on these standard designs and has developed its own variants, including versions covering 400 MHz to 1650 MHz. The patented approach can be realised on FR4, flex PCB, or LDS, which gives developers broad freedom in product integration.

The image series from Embedded World 2027 below shows loop antennas in use at u-blox, Raspberry Pi, and Antennity. Antennity first converted the patented principle into PCB antennas, then extended it into reference designs with radio modules, MCUs, and open-source GitHub code.

Shaping the Future of Intelligent Connectivity

Close collaboration delivers more than engineering — it delivers complete, award‑winning IoT systems that unite precision RF design, simulation expertise, and real‑world validation. From concept to certification, every product reflects one clear mission: Turning loop antenna innovation into connected reality.
